1. Your Rights Under Kuwait Law

In accordance with applicable Kuwaiti consumer protection legislation:

Customers may request a return, exchange, or refund within 14 days of receiving their order, provided the product remains in its original condition and meets the eligibility requirements outlined below.
This policy does not limit any rights granted to consumers under Kuwaiti law.

2. Return Eligibility

A product may be returned if all of the following conditions are met:

The return request is made within 14 days of receiving the order.
The item is unused, unopened, and in its original condition.
All original packaging, seals, labels, accessories, and promotional items are intact.
The original purchase invoice or order confirmation is provided.
The product is suitable for resale.

3. Non-Returnable Products

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned or refunded unless they are defective or supplied incorrectly:

Opened skincare products
Opened cosmetics and makeup
Opened personal care products
Products with broken safety seals
Used or partially used products
Products damaged due to misuse or improper storage
Free gifts and promotional items
Gift cards or digital products (if offered)

Due to the nature of beauty and personal care products, opened items cannot be resold and are therefore excluded from returns except where required by law.

4. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items

If you receive:

A damaged product
A defective product
The wrong product
A product missing items

To help us process your request quickly, please include:

Your order number
Photos of the product
Photos of the packaging
A brief description of the issue

After verification, we will, at our discretion and where appropriate:

Replace the item,
Exchange the item, or
Issue a full refund.

5. Refunds

Once your returned product has been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

If approved:

Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase whenever possible, or another mutually agreed method where permitted by law.
Processing times may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.

Shipping charges are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error or a defective product.

6. Exchanges

Eligible products may be exchanged for:

The same item
A replacement due to a manufacturing defect
An item of equal value, subject to stock availability

7. Return Shipping

If the return is due to:

A defective product,
An incorrect product sent by us, or
Damage during delivery,

Dar Al Mikyaj will bear the reasonable return shipping cost.

If the return is requested for any other eligible reason, the customer may be responsible for the return shipping cost unless otherwise agreed.

8. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled before they have been prepared for shipment.

Once an order has been dispatched, cancellation is no longer possible, and the order will be subject to this Return & Refund Policy.

9. Refused Returns

We reserve the right to refuse a return if:

The product has been opened or used.
The safety seal has been removed or damaged.
The product has been altered after delivery.
The return request falls outside the applicable return period.
The returned product does not meet the conditions stated in this policy.

Where a return is refused, the product may be returned to the customer.

10. Consumer Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any statutory rights available to consumers under the laws of the State of Kuwait.

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly with us, consumers may contact the relevant consumer protection authority within the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
